This part of our workshop places focus on an in-depth detailization of all the exam parts teaching, alongside with practical application of newly acquired skills for teachers who wish to be able to tackle the trickiest issues of their day-to-day IELTS teaching practice. Graphs, charts, tables
Describing processes
Structural peculiarities of IELTS letters
Writing an effective essay, both Academic and General Training

Each step is supported with practical tasks to hone your fresh knowledge
DAY2. 29.03.2016 at 14.00
This workshop unit concerns itself with practical revision of the previous day material, as well as
gives insight into listening and reading teaching strategies.
The program of this day includes:
Practical tasks for writing teaching strategies
Reading question types and various catches you may encounter when dealing with them
Teaching reading practice
Listening question types overview
How to teach listening
Conclusion. Q&A, feedback
DAY 3. 30.03.2016 at 14.00
This part elucidates vocabulary and speaking teaching principles together with the final revision
and assessment of all the obtained expertise.

All the participants receive certificates of attendance.

I have always been of the opinion that you can never stop developing and improving your English as well as your teaching skills.
Luckily I got a chance (just happened to see the notice in the Internet) to be a listener of a three-step course "How to teach IELTS" delivered by Darina at Trinity! (Darina, you are an amazing teacher, thanks a lot for who you are!) As for me this course was absolutely worth doing!!!
We met three times at 2 pm which was really comfortable for me (being an English teacher myself I am always busy in the morning and in the evening). These three meetings were exciting, informative, resourceful and necessary for me! I loved trying myself in a role of a student and practicing some IELTS tasks with the help of other English teachers!:) We even had to do some homework which was a real challenge, I must say! (Yes, nobody enjoys doing homework! Even teachers!;)
I guess we all had some fun and it was rather renewing for me as changing social roles can produce a powerful effect and help in better understanding of what students feel like sometimes. Moreover, these hours spent with other teachers were truly motivating as you can always learn something new from your colleagues!;)))
